Frances P. Miller, 91, of Marion, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Oct. 19, 2015, at Summit Pointe Senior Living in Marion. Funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, with Father Chris Podhajsky presiding. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visita-tion will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW.

Frances was united in marriage to Stanley Miller on May 18, 1948, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. She worked as a lab technician at Quaker Oats for many years until her retirement in 1981.
Frances enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting and word puzzles. In her early years, she enjoyed going to dances with Stanley. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with family, and never met a dog she did not like.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stanley; and her siblings.
Memorials may be directed to either the Cedar Valley Humane Society or St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in her name.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff at Summit Pointe and to Hospice Compassus for their loving care and support of Frances.
