Lyness for Johnson County Attorney

I'm voting for Janet Lyness for Johnson County Attorney in the June 3 primary. I want someone in that position who is committed to our community as a parent and lifelong resident. Someone who has the experience of the county attorney's office by serving there, training there and respecting the law and the process is important. Someone who has actually been to court, defended our justice system and worked long and hard to make necessary changes with staff and policy. Change is never easy and takes time, but the law is the law. Until it is changed, it should be followed in the court system.
Lyness worked hard to share the story of the inadequate facilities under which her staff and the public have to work and wait in line. She knows the importance of the big picture that does not isolate one faction of our society. A vote for Lyness is a vote for justice.
