David James Gleason, 20, son of Garry and Cynthia Gleason, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018, at UIHC.
Visitation will be Monday, March 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the David Gleason Memorial Fund.
David was born Dec. 10, 1997, in Iowa City. He was a graduate of Elizabeth Tate High School. David loved nature and the adventures spent with family and friends. He was employed at Culver's.
David is survived by his father, Garry Gleason; his daughter, Effy; his momma, Cindy Hook; his siblings, Sephera, RJ "Race," Chera, Tyler, Matthew, Riley "Goose," Ashton, Spencer, Jaydyn and Aniya; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia (Lenoch) Gleason.
