Bailey, Curt C.
Curt C. Bailey, 33, of Marengo, died Sunday, July 19, 2009. Graveside services: 10 a.m. Monday, July 27, at the Marengo Cemetery, with the Rev. Katie Dawson officiating. There will be no visitation. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, is in charge of arrangements.
A memorial fund has been established for his son, Alex.
He is survived by his son, Alex; stepbrothers, Joe Losch (Diane) of Cedar Rapids, John Losch (Donna) of Florida and Jim Losch (Sharon) of Marion; a half sister, Jeri Springman (Barry) of Alburnett; a stepsister, Joanie Ondler (Corky) of Marion; and an uncle, Dick Bailey (Joanne) of Dubuque.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Curtis Casper Bailey was born Jan. 4, 1976, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Harold and Brooksie Watts Bailey. He was employed as a foreman at Pennebaker Construction. Curt enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, Ice House beer and spending time with Alex. He loved bonfires and the July Fourth fireworks. He especially enjoyed the annual Bailey Campout with Matt Losch, Pam Gaines and Danny Bailey.
