Heeren, Daniel E.
Daniel E. Heeren, 54, of Monticello, died Friday, Aug. 26, 2011, at the Monticello Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Monticello. Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, at Kramer Funeral Home in Monticello, where a funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Norwich Cemetery near Martelle.
Daniel was born Feb. 28, 1957, in Anamosa, Iowa, the son of Lyman and Bertha (Wells) Heeren.
He is survived by his dear friends, Shirley Funte and the Joe and Sheila McGreal family, all of Monticello; siblings, Virginia Harlow and Bill (Marla) Heeren, both of Cedar Rapids, Brenda Childers of Monticello, Angela (Lonnie) Hoose of Fairfax and James (Oune) French of Chicago; two aunts, Marjorie (Al) Goldsmith of McGregor and Ruth Overton of California; a nephew, John Childers of Monticello; and nieces, Corinthia Hoose of Fairfax, Tacie Hoose of Fairfax, Jennifer French of Texas and Jessica French of Chicago.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Linda.
