RUTH WROBLEWSKI
Monticello
Ruth L. Wroblewski, 83, of Monticello, died Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at home surrounded by her family. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 11, at Oakwood Cemetery in Monticello. Kramer Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Ruth was born Aug. 29, 1931, in Monticello, the daughter of Alfred and Grace (Tapken) Ommen. She graduated from Monticello High School with the class of 1950. She married and later divorced. She worked for Rockwell Collins and retired in 1988.
Ruth is survived by three children, Steven Wroblewski and Starr (Daniel) Porter, both of Monticello, and David (Cindy) Wroblewski of Cedar Rapids; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Dirks of Monticello.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant grandson, Chad Michael Wroblewski.
