Kathleen "Kathy" Tichy, 71, of Solon died Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Solon, where visitation will be from 9 a.m. Tuesday until services and following services during the reception at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her memory to the Iowa Donor Network (which even in
her death she supported) or the Palliative Care Unit of the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, c/o the University of Iowa Foundation.
