Hollingsworth, Joyce
Joyce Hollingsworth, 62, passed away Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at Midwest CareCenter's Hospice Care in Skokie, Ill. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.
She is survived by her daughter and son and their spouses, Amanda and Corey Wistrom and Colby and Tammy Burke; four grandchildren, Jack and Carly and Xander and Lincoln; her sister and brother, Pam and Doug Hollingsworth; and other family and friends.
The daughter of Dean and Florence Hollingsworth, Joyce was born Nov. 12, 1949, in Cedar Rapids, where she lived until her recent stay with family in Illinois. For the past few years she worked at the Cedar Rapids Police Department, where she thoroughly enjoyed her co-workers, her work and serving the community. Her favorite things in life were loving her children and grandchildren, being in nature and learning from others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
