Schmidt, Paul H.
Paul H. Schmidt, 97, of Manchester, died on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester; and after 10 a.m. at the church on Friday. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. on Friday at First Lutheran Church in Manchester, with Dr. Rev. Jean Rabary officiating. Interment at Oakland Cemetery, Manchester.
Survivors include two children, Gordon (Alice) Schmidt of Manchester and Marvelyn (Rick) Davis of Martinez, Calif.; six grandchildren, Duane Schmidt of Greensburg, Pa., Paula (Don) Krogmann of Center Point, Laura (Bill) Thomas of Manchester, Jason (Jennifer) Ferguson of Penacook, N.H., Gary (Andrea) Schmidt of Manchester and Chad (Amy) Ferguson of Winter Garden, Fla; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Lester Schmidt of Pittsburg, Pa., Velma Burke of Strawberry Point and Hilda Smith of Dolphin, Ala.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Elda Schmidt in 1984; two sons, Eldon and David Schmidt; two grandchildren, Karla and Michael Schmidt; and two great-grandchildren, Paul and Olivia Schmidt.
