WILLIAM DORANCE BURKE Coggon William Dorance Burke, 90, of Coggon, Iowa, passed away on Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, at The Villages in Marion. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Mary "Ginger" Burke of Marion; his four children, William (Jane) Burke of San Clemente, Calif., Michael (Beverly) Burke of Walker, Janet (Randy) Weekly of Walker and Annette (Jerry) Slattery of Winthrop; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Glenn (Kay) Burke of Ryan; a brother-in-law, Wayne Meade of Williamsburg; and many nieces and nephews. Online condolences may be sent to www.leonard-mullerfh.com. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Monti, Iowa, with the Rev. Ardel Barta officiating. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, at the church hall, where there will be a 4 p.m. Scripture service. Friends may also call one hour before the service Wednesday at the church. Interment with military rites: St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Monti.
