Reader skips captions on international photos

I wholeheartedly agree with the Feb. 23 letter by Duane Crock “Perhaps readers should submit for ‘Snapshots.'”
In the Feb. 19 Gazette, there was a picture of a Nepalese man “silhouetted by setting sun Tuesday ... at Kailali.” When I saw it, I was hoping it was a man somewhere in the United States. I find myself not even bothering to read the captions.
