Robert H. "Bob" Wolf, 75, longtime Iowa City resident, died Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, at Mercy Hospice.
No services are planned.
Instead of flowers and plants, memorials may be directed to The Greater Iowa Alzheimer's Association, Iowa City Hospice or Mercy Hospital Foundation for Mercy Hospice.
Robert H. Wolf was born Sept. 24, 1938, in Iowa City, the son of Herman and Ilene Wolf. Bob grew up in Iowa City, where he graduated from Iowa City High School and served in the Army National Guard.
He met and later married Erma Yerington on July 14, 1963, in Iowa City.
Since 1963, Bob owned and operated Wolf Construction Co. Bob and Erma developed and operated Modern Manor and Lake Ridge, both in Iowa City.
Bob is survived by his wife, Erma of Iowa City; a son, Jeff Wolf of Iowa City; a daughter, Brandy (JT) Egli of Austin, Texas; and his sister, Marilyn Shannon of Iowa City.
His parents died before him.
