K.T., as she was affectionately called by her husband, graduated from Coe College in Cedar Rapids in 1939. She was the epitome of an Army wife, which was a great help to her husband's career, and was very involved in the Officers' Wives' Club and many related activities at every duty station, which included Yokohama, Japan, and Heidelberg, Germany as well as many places in the U.S. When her husband was first stationed at Fort Gordon, Ga. in 1952, they became members of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Mrs. Moore was a member of the Augusta Choral Society, Augusta Chamber Singers, and Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Choir. She was an accomplished singer, studied voice, and in Japan the art of flower arranging. Mrs. Moore was a Volunteer with Hospice at St. Joseph Hospital and the Red Cross and very generous with her time, as a regular visitor to church shut-ins.
She is survived by her brother Edwin J. Timm and wife Audrey and preceded in death by her sister Barbara Lou Timm.
