Swanson, T. Marcella
T. Marcella Swanson, 89, died March 3, 2010, in Winona, Minn.
Born Sept. 30, 1920, in Newhall, Iowa, she graduated from the Shellsburg High School and attended Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls, before beginning her teaching career at Lower Stone Rural School in Benton County. In 1950, she moved to Waterloo and taught there until her retirement in 1986.
Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, at Hoff Funeral Home in Lewiston, Minn. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Center Point, Iowa Cemetery.
