TYLER DAVIS CLEMENTS

Tyler Davis Clements, 75, lost his courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease surrounded by the love of his family at Solterra Care Center in Castle Rock, Colo., on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015. Born June 24, 1940, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Ralph and Marie Clements, he attended the Shattuck School and graduated from Parsons College in Fairfield.
Tyler was the epitome of a people person and a natural entrepreneur. His inherent sales ability allowed him to achieve top rankings in many diverse endeavors. He was a lover of good food and great conversation and an avid reader who was committed to lifelong learning.
Tyler will be especially remembered for his quick wit, generous heart and willingness to help those around him achieve their goals and dreams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Marie; and his sister, Patricia.
He is survived by his children, Brian (Tracy) and Kristin (Dave) Schrader; his grandchildren, Gentry, Tyler, Mitchell and Allie; his sister, Mary Smith; and brother-in-law, Ray Miller (Patricia).
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Dec. 28, at Springville Methodist Church in Springville, Iowa. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family in this celebration of his life and in a small reception immediately following the service.
