BARBARA ANN FRANZ

Barbara Ann Franz, 82, of Grinnell, died Jan. 23, 2017, at Mayflower Home Community Health Care Center in Grinnell, after a courageous battle with cancer. A celebration of life service will be held at noon Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Carman Center of the Mayflower Community, with the Rev. Dr. Mitchell E. Otto of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Coralville officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, in Wildwood Cemetery in Sheboygan, Wis.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Grinnell Regional Hospice.
Survivors include two sons, Brian (Lori) Franz of Cedar Rapids and Joel Franz of Ames; three brothers, Gary (Marie) Otto, Eugene (Pat) Otto and Robert (Jani) Otto, all of Hutchinson, Minn.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
