PATSY JANE STUCKEY SCHLUETER

Patsy Jane Stuckey Schlueter passed away Sept. 21, 2016, at her home, with her daughter present. At Pat's request, there will be no services.
Pat was born Aug. 31, 1940, one of nine children, to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stuckey of Tipton. She graduated from Tipton High School, Class of 1958.
Pat worked several years at the Cedar County Fair. She was a stellar homemaker, enjoyed gardening and cooking, and liked to do crossword puzzles. She also was an enthusiastic traveler and enjoyed being with her sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Kendall Jane (Danny) Edwards; four grandchildren, Houston Edwards, Dixie Edwards, Charlotte Edwards and Braxton Edwards; and four sisters, Shirley Callahan of Coralville, and Phyllis Callahan, Judy Buddenbaum and Kitty Highly, all of Iowa City.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Lee Schlueter; her parents; her brothers, George, Ronald and Max; and her sister, Vivian.
Special thanks to all who took such good care – Mary Brown, Hospice Compassus, Palliative Care team, the nurses on fourth floor Pappajohn at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, and her special friend, Lou Ann Albaugh.
