Brodina Haddy (Brodersen) Curtis, 81, of Marion, died Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at Crestview Acres, Marion. Visitation: 10 a.m. to noon Friday, May 20, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Tommy Haddy of Center Point and Denise Haddy and Brett Haddy, both of Cedar Rapids; and grandson, Thomas Haddy.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, James Brodersen and Marvin Brodersen.
Brodina was born April 12, 1935, in Iowa City, Iowa, daughter of Christian and Maria (Verstreater) Brodersen. She married Louis Haddy in 1954, who died in 1972. Later she married David Curtis in Center Point. Brodina owned Haddy's Haven Bar in Center Point. She spent many years living in Florida.
Brodina enjoyed fishing, crafts and Yahtzee with her family. She loved to sing and spend time with her family.
