Students at Harding Middle School on Wednesday helped Cedar Rapids police K-9 officers acquire equipment they need.

On Wednesday, the school hosted its annual Kids vs. Cops Dodge Ball Tournament, with this year marking the 11th year of competition.
Not even counting Wednesday, the school has already made grea tprogress on funding the equipment. Cedar Rapids public safety spokesman Greg Buelow said Harding students, faculty and staff have raised almost $20,000 in the last decade.
