Jean Margaret Prowse, 84, of Gosport, UK, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, at QA Hospital Portsmouth, UK.
Funeral services: noon (UK time) Monday, Feb. 9, at Port-chester Crematorium, Portsmouth, UK.
Family flowers only, but donations to American Cancer Society are welcome.
Surviving are her children, Alan, Stephen and Dennis Prowse; daughters-in-law, Liz, Sue and Gill; grandchildren, Barrie, Laura, Ian, Neal, Andrew and Josh; and great-grandchildren, William and James.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernie.
Jean was born in Brisworthy Devon, UK, in December 1930, one of nine children. She married Bern in 1950; they celebrated 61 wonderful years of marriage. In 1992, they moved to Gosport from Devon, enjoying many afternoons and evenings dancing with their friends. Now reunited, and dancing together again!
Alan and Liz wish to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, support and concern shown to their family during this time of sorrow.
