Patricia Rae Lincoln, 85, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015, at Willow Gardens Care Center in Marion. Iowa Cremation is in charge of arrangements. A family memorial will be held at a later date.
Pat was born to Asa Ray and Edna Mae (Postel) Tarbox on Sept. 7, 1930, in Anamosa, Iowa. Pat and Robert Lincoln were married March 25, 1951, at Wayne Zion Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, Bob; son, Ross (Janice) Lincoln; daughter, Robyn (Bob) Cummings; sisters, Donna (Don) Clark, Dorothy (Chuck) Bieber and Roseann (Richard) Stivers of Anamosa; brothers, Raymond (Marilyn) Tarbox of Santee, Calif., and Michael (Joyce) Tarbox of Ostrander, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Rob (Susan McAtee) Lincoln, Jim (Teri) Lincoln, Cameron (Becca) Watts, Christina Lincoln, Miranda (Corey) Cornwell, Josh Cummings, Katie (Drew Woodmansee) Cummings and Jake Cummings; eight great-grandchildren, Jacob, Ryder, Matthew, Wyatt, Lucas, Maddie, Lexi and Ian; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Tarbox.
Pat was employed as a secretary for Farm Service and as a radio dispatcher for the Jones County Sheriff's Office. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, gardening, crafts, cooking and reading a good book. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed.
A very special thanks to the staff at Willow Gardens for the love and care they gave Mom these last five years.
