Four new stores to open in Coralville

Four new stores are coming to Coral Ridge Mall.

Ulta Beauty, HomeGoods, Marshalls and PetSmart will open new venues in the mall this year, Coral Ridge Mall posted on Facebook Thursday.

Signs for HomeGoods, a home accessories store, could be seen Thursday on the exterior of a building under construction.

Coral Ridge has been developing a new building on top of land that formerly housed a Sears. That space is large enough for six stores.

While Ulta, HomeGoods and PetSmart all have locations in Cedar Rapids, Marshalls does not, according to store listings on their websites.

HomeGoods and Marshalls are owned by parent company TJX Companies, which also operates a TJ Maxx in Coralville and has a TJ Maxx and a HomeGoods in Cedar Rapids.

Monica Nadeau, the general manager for Coral Ridge Mall, said the four stores should be open in September.
