Letter: Health bill not in best interest of public

The sad truth is that providing health care to Americans was never the goal of Republican efforts to ram through a 'health care” bill. It was to undo what a black president had succeeded in creating. It was to funnel even more money into the hands of the super wealthy. It was definitely not an attempt to act in the best interests of the public.
So now we're moving on to 'tax reform.” Don't believe for a minute that the Republican Congress will have a change of heart and actually create a bill that will be in the public's best interests. It won't happen.
