Xavier’s Jacob Fulton born to bowl
CEDAR RAPIDS — Bowling has been Jacob Fulton's favorite sport for a long time.
'It is something that you can achieve by yourself,' said Fulton, a senior on Xavier's boys' bowling team. 'Your score is your score, and there is no one else to blame if it is not a great score.'
Fulton will continue his bowling career next year at Clarke University in Dubuque. A four-year varsity bowler, Fulton is averaging 211.00 per game and 421.9 a series,
'Jacob is a great leader for the team,' Xavier Coach Russ Camacho said. 'He is one of only three guys on the team that have been on varsity all four years.'
Xavier (7-3) is at Waterloo East (Cadillac Lanes) on Friday, starting at 3:45 p.m.
