DONALD EDWIN LARSON

Donald Edwin Larson, 83, of Wheatland, Iowa, died June 22, 2016, at his home.
Don was born on Nov. 18, 1932, to Charles and Orpah Larson. On July 7, 2007, Don married Cindy (Engel). They have spent these years enjoying love and life. Don retired from driving Legend Class race cars in 2006 and from Barron Motors in 2008. He was a loving man who cared deeply for those around him.
Survivors include his wife; his brother, Dick; children, Laura (Dave) Emig, Heather (Rob) Hunter and Bryan Conner; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and guardian angels Pearl and Roger Huffman, Tiffney Deerberg and Megan Snyder.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Vera; his sister, Leon; and brother-in-law, Ken Jones.
Funeral services will be held on June 25 at Trinity Lutheran, Lowden, Iowa, at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church Ladies Aid.
