The angels received Shirlee on Jan. 20, 2016.
Born May 15, 1927, in Cadillac, Mich., she married Clyde Wilcox on May 1, 1948. After 25 years of marriage, Clyde passed. Shirlee worked at Vigortone Ag Products for 36 years, raising three children.
Survivors include children, Sherri Wilcox (Richard Mishler), Shelli Wilcox (son, Travis Umbdenstock) and Cory Wilcox; two other grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all from Cedar Rapids; sister, Kaye (Jerry) Snyder, McBain, Mich.; nephew, Mark Fortlage, Cadillac, Mich.; caregiver, Diane Vanderslice; and her dog, Charming.
Shirlee was involved with many organizations: FW, Eagles, ABWA and more. She loved to travel and loved family and friends.
Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at Hope Lutheran Church, 2736 Bowling St. SW, Cedar Rapids. She will be laid to rest at a later date at Maple Hill Cemetery, Cadillac, Mich.
