Richard Thomas Bradley, 77, of Manchester, died Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at the All American Care Center in Washington, Iowa. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Inurnment: Oakland Cemetery, Manchester.
He was born on Sept. 29, 1937, at home on a farm in rural Manchester, the son of Ernest and Jessie (Kent) Bradley. Richard was raised in Delaware County and attended school at Oneida and the Little Red School House. On June 5, 1955, Richard was united in marriage to Dorothea Meader at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Four children were born to this marriage. Richard was a truck driver and loved his job. The family camped in the past.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothea of Manchester; four children, Pam (David) Kuntz of Henderson, Minn., Babet Bradley of Manchester, Tim (Pam) Bradley of Milford and James (Carolyn) Bradley of Independence, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 30 plus great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy (Duane) Rissler of Manchester.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Donald and Ernest.
