Richard Joseph Bousek, 94 years of age, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving
family, on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Hattie Bousek; his first wife, Patricia Seda Bousek; second wife, Mary Parelli Bousek; and brother, Joseph Bousek. Richard is survived by his sister, Lucille
Wittenmeyer, Cedar Rapids; his stepchildren, Teresa Toupal, Joseph Parelli and his wife, Kathy, Elisa Parelli, and Alfred Parelli Jr. and his wife, Gayle. He is blessed with five grandchildren, Jonathan Parelli, Dominic Parelli, Aaron Parelli, Richard Parelli and Rachel Toupal; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Richard was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and his career was spent in engineering with Dallas-based companies, LTV and Collins Radio.
Richard was a Navy veteran of World War II and played a significant part in the "greatest generation."
Funeral services and inurnment will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 600 S. Jupiter Rd., Richardson, TX 75081, on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 10:30 a.m.
