Richard T. Spitler, 87, of Iowa City, died Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Lantern Park Nursing and Rehab Center in Coralville. In accordance to Richard's wishes, no funeral services are planned. Private family interment services will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City.
In lieu of cards or flowers, his family requests gifts in his memory to the Sisters of Mercy at Mercy Iowa City.
