RICHARD "RICH" ALBERTS

Richard "Rich" Alberts, 54, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Nov. 28, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his mother, Sue (Jerry) Reifenstahl; sisters, Tami (Scott) Fiala and Misti Pearson; one niece; and three nephews.
Richard was born on Dec. 16, 1960, son of Richard Lee and Barbara (Blahnik) Alberts. He lived on an acreage in Atkins, later Palo, and then moved to Cedar Rapids. He loved his dogs and restoring his '68 Camaro.
