Albert, Kaylynn M. 'Kaye'
Kaylynn M. “Kaye” Albert, 43, of Coralville, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at the University of Iowa Hospitals following a short illness. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at the Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City with inurnment to follow at Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Kaye Albert Memorial Fund.

Kaylynn May Tompkins was born April 24, 1970, in Iowa City, the daughter of Cynde Palmer and Bill Tompkins. If you knew Kaye, you knew she was the life of the party - if it needed solving, Kaye was the one! She was an avid supporter of Tony Stewart and Hawkeye football and also loved her Kansas City Chiefs. Kaye's personality was one of a kind, she truly was a fun-loving spirit.
Her family includes her sons, Jeremy and Tyler Albert of Coralville; parents, Cynde Palmer (Glenn Kirvan) of Osage Beach, Mo. and Bill Tompkins (Kay) of Arizona; brother, Mike Tompkins (Lesley Dalan) of Columbia, Mo.; and grandmother, Irene Klinzman of Iowa City.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Willie Tompkins; and grandparents, Derrill Klinzman and Everett and Edna Tompkins.
Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City is caring for Kaye's family and her services.
