Election bill not about consistency

Republicans in the Statehouse continue their thinly veiled assault on the election process, attempting to skew results in their favor.
Among the changes they are hoping to pass is the elimination of state buildings as polling sites in state elections. This would directly impact students by curtailing on-campus voting at the state universities. Do I need to say students tend to vote for Democratic candidates?
The rationale given by Sen. Roby Smith, R-Davenport, is the GOP is striving for consistency throughout the state, since not all cities have such buildings. The assault on our intelligence is almost as bad as their assault on a fair, democratic process.
