Hermine E. McLeran, 82, longtime resident of this area, died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, at Congregational Church of Christ in Iowa City (30 N. Clinton St.), with burial to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. (Sunday parking ordinance will be in effect for the streets near the church). Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to either the Dr. James H. McLeran Scholarship Fund, c/o U of I Foundation; Congregational Church of Christ; or Pathways Adult Day Health Center.
