Geraldine was born May 5, 1921, in Creston, Iowa, to Ed and Marguarite (Henderson) Turner. She was the oldest of 10 children. On Jan. 31, 1941, Geraldine was united in marriage to Orville Allison at Maryville, Mo. They worked side by side in various jobs, most recently at the Blairstown locker for 30 years, before retiring. Orville preceded her in death in 1996.

She was especially fond of watching NCAA football, basketball and major league baseball on TV. She enjoyed listening to old time country music and working with her flowers.
Survivors include a sister, Audrey (Gary) Wandling of Blairstown; a brother, Ray (Kenna) Turner of Inglis, Fla.; her three children, Steve of Estero, Fla., Karen (Vince) Schulte of Norway and Becky (Tom) Cranston of The Villages, Fla.; 12 grandchildren, Amy Allison, Andrea (Mike) Biggs, Keri (Jim) Revett, Aaron (Shannon) Allison, Allyson Schulte, Vance Schulte, Chad (Chrystal) Schulte, Justin (Tara) Schulte, Vaughn (Shelley) Schulte, Kodi (Jesse) Burch, Shalae (Sean) Patrick and Tyson (Michelle) Cranston; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Orville, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, four sisters and an infant great-granddaughter.
Geri was cared for lovingly by Judi Allison in her final days and her family will be eternally grateful.
