Schulte, Connie Ann

Connie Ann Schulte, 82, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, St. Michael's Catholic Church, Norway, with the Rev. Craig Steimel officiating. Burial: St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church with rosary at 7:30 p.m.

Survivors include her daughters, Rosemary (Garry) O'Rear, Cathy (Rex) Maile, Cindy (Randy) Forsyth, Debbie (Keith) Schmuecker, Vicki (Rick) Hergert and Margaret Chapman; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six granddogs; and sisters, Marian Stark and Audrey Mullinex.

Connie was preceded in death by her first husband, Victor; sons, Michael and Patrick Cox; husband, Roland “Sonny” Schulte; sisters, Eileen Hite and Lavon Frank; and brother, Mark Reynolds Jr.

Connie was born Nov. 14, 1930, in Vinton, to Mark and Marie Steward Reynolds. She was raised in Shellsburg and graduated from there in 1948.

Connie will be truly missed by her family, friends, American Legion Auxiliary and the many people who benefited from her baking and generous heart.

Arrangements are with Brosh Funeral Service, Norway.
