Schumacher, Ronald E.
Ronald E. Schumacher, 78, of Marengo, died Sunday, July 15, 2012, at his home. Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 19, Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo. Burial: Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Blairstown. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo. A memorial fund has been established.
Ronald is survived by his significant other, Dee Ann Wilhelm; a daughter, Connie Pegump (John) of Walford; three sons, Kevin Schumacher (Teresa) of Jefferson City, Mo., Jeff Schumacher of Amana, and Mark Schumacher (Shelly) also of Amana; seven grandchildren, Justin Pegump (Julie), Teran Pegump, Jessie Schumacher (Kate), Niki Schumacher, Tyler Schumacher, Sheena Hogue (Josh) and Kyle Schumacher; and three great-grandchildren, Aria Pegump, Zachary Schumacher and Joseph Schumacher.
Also surviving are a sister, Margaret Whittaker of Lenexa, Kan.; and four brothers, Norman Schumacher of St. Louis, Mo., Larry Schumacher (Gloria) of Marengo, James Schumacher (Kathy) of Fairfax and Edward Schumacher (Gloria) of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo F. and Margaret Hartin Schumacher; and an infant brother, Thomas.
