Smith, Linda Lou 'Little Bit'
Linda Lou “Little Bit” Smith, 62, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at her home. Celebration of Life: 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, at Local P-3 Retirees, 116 14th Ave. SE, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her companion of 35 years, Ron Sojka; three sons, Travis Sojka, Dustin Sojka and Joshua Smith; three daughters, Shelly Marquette, Mary Chrisman and Jane VonKiedrowski; sister, Lesley Baker; best friend, Shirley Santee; 15 grandchildren, Cody, Brianna and Taylor Marquette, Mikayla Smith, Coby Chrisman, Logen, Tysen, Ciera and Nevah Sojka, Chad, Corey, Codie and Alayna VonKiedrowski and Christian and Jaden Smith; and one great-grandchild, Peyton Marquette.
Linda was born July 6, 1948, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Virgil and Fern Marquette. She enjoyed playing bingo and euchre.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ron Marquette; and sister, Leanna Brown.
