Mary is survived by her husband, Arnold J. Yanecek; her children, James (Kay) Yanecek of West Branch, Ruth (Daniel) Becker of Williamsburg, David (Jan) Yanecek of North Liberty, and Douglas (Shelly) Yanecek of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren, Bradley (Stephanie) Yanecek, Jill (James) Steffes, Jason (Amy) Becker, Keith (Rachel) Becker, Jeff Yanecek, Emily (Rob) Tomich, Katilyn Yanecek, and Drew Yanecek; eight great-grandchildren, Jaida, Jalila, Vivien, Griffin, Channing, Owen, Reid, and Landen; a sister, Kathy (Dale) Hein of Tipton; brother, Richard Gooden, brother and sister-in-law, Merle and Myrtle Yanecek, and brother-in-law, Bob Bartlett, all of Cedar Rapids.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Margaret Gooden; two sisters, JoAnn Bartlett and Carolyn Gooden; two granddaughters; and father- and mother-in-law, Joseph and Anna Yanecek.
Memorials may be directed to either Clover Ridge United Methodist or to the American Heart Association.
