Mary Louise Waterman, 58, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuessday, May 5, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center following complications of multiple sclerosis. Services: 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Jude Catholic Church by the Rev. Mark Reasoner. Friends may visit with the family one hour before the service Saturday at the church. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.
Mary is survived by her husband, Curtis Waterman of Cedar Rapids; three children, Eric Schade of Des Moines, Emily Waterman (Evan Neise) of Coggon and Clifton Waterman (Megan Dodson) of Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren, KarissaLynn, Terryn, Cameron and Logan Neise; mother, Marie Hacke of Urbandale; four sisters, Kathy (Keith) Wunder of West Des Moines, Beth (Dan) Forbes of Boise, Idaho, Linda (Marvin) Bennett of West Des Moines and Jean (Charlie) Neibergall of Urbandale; one sister-in-law, Diane Dodd of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her father, Robert (2011); and a brother, David Dodd (2007).
Mary was born Dec. 31, 1956, in Davenport, the daughter of Robert Dodd and Marie (Barry) Dodd. She married Curtis Lee Waterman on Nov. 16, 1986, in Newell, Iowa. Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.
