Duwe, Paul R.
Paul R. Duwe, 40, of Tipton, formerly of Guttenberg, died Monday, May 28, 2012, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Arrangements are being handled by Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 207 S. First St., Guttenberg, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 1. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 2, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Guttenberg, with the Rev. David Zimmer officiating. Interment will be at Guttenberg City Cemetery. Casket bearers: Tony Reyerson, Joe Parker, Kyle McGuine, Mark Pattison, Chad Harbaugh and Mike Horn.
Paul, born the son of Dennis and Rosalie (Hinzman) Duwe, on Jan. 22, 1972, was baptized Feb. 6, 1972, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Guttenberg. He graduated from Guttenberg High School and attended Hawkeye Tech in Waterloo and was employed by Agile Construction Co.
Paul enjoyed spending time with his daughter, the outdoors, fishing and time with friends.
He is survived by his father, Dennis and stepmother Dianne Duwe; one daughter, Addison; grandparents, Duwane and Eldora Duwe; stepsisters and their families, Kris Oswald, Karri Kruser and Nichole Walters; family friend, Shelley; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose; his brother, Mark; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hinzman.
