Almeda Courtney, 83, of Belle Plaine, Iowa, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018, at her home.
Celebration of life is 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service, Belle Plaine. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Belle Plaine, at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.hrabakfuneralhome.com.
She is survived by her children, Raymond Meck, Kannie "Chris" (David) Upah and Gene (Julie) Meck, all of Belle Plaine; grandchildren, Christopher (Donna), Jennifer (Brad), Daniel (Krystal), Carl (Kaylin) and Matt (Tosha); great-grandchildren, Aden, AJ, Landon, Allee, Sofia and Riley; and faithful companion, Mercedes, along with many family and friends.
Almeda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dee; sister, Christine; and several brothers.
