MARY JANE STONER
Hiawatha
Mary Jane Stoner, 75, of Hiawatha, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019, at Manor Care in Cedar Rapids. There will be a private family service. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; two sons, Kevin of St. Paul, Minn., and Tracy (Linda) of Cedar Rapids; one daughter, Susan (Jerry) Nelson of Cedar Rapids; and a sister, Judy Horesowsky of Richmond, Iowa. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Natasha, Taylin, Brynn, Collin, Madison and Brody.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Horesowsky.
Mary Jane was born on Aug. 22, 1943, in Richmond the daughter of Richard and Josephine (Lyon) Horesowsky. She married Kenneth E. Stoner on Jan. 26, 1963, in Richmond.
Mary Jane enjoyed baking, country music, all types of animals, playing Scrabble, taking long walks with her family and dog; and especially, the time spent with her beloved family and friends.
Mary Jane will forever be remembered as a wonderful and caring wife, mother, sister grandmother and friend whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial donations may be given to St Jude's Children's Hospital or to the Cedar Valley Humane Society.
