Three people were arrested Tuesday morning after a meth bust at a Cedar Rapids residence, police said.
Officers went to 318 30th St. Dr. SE just before 5 a.m. Tuesday. In one of the bedrooms, they found equipment used to make methamphetamine, including aluminum, glassware and pop bottles, police said.
Glen E. Allen, 32, who lives at the residence, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine when the equipment was found in his bedroom, police said. Haleigh Hayes, 17, of 2635 23rd Ave. SE, was charged with possession of precursors used to make meth. Police Sgt. Cristy Hamblin said she had powder from pseudoephedrine pills, one of the ingredients used to make the drug.
A third person, Trenton McCleary, 23, was charged with disorderly house. Hamblin said he was staying at the house and was aware of the drug activity.
Allen and McCleary were taken to the Linn County Jail. Hayes was taken to the Linn County Detention Center. Allen remained in the Linn County Jail on Wednesday afternoon in lieu of a $20,000 bond.
