Buffalo Wild Wings in southwest Cedar Rapids moving to new building

A southwest Cedar Rapids restaurant is moving to a new location in the same shopping center.

Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar, which opened in April 2001 in Westwood Plaza at 2210 Edgewood Rd. SW, is moving to the the former Hollywood Video building at 2020 Edgewood Rd. SW. The video rental chain closed its Cedar Rapids store in March 2010.

The new Buffalo Wild Wings location will be more prominent on the perimeter of Westwood Plaza. The existing restaurant is located in three bays of a strip center.

Tech Builders Inc. of Fairmont, Minn., is remodeling the former video store.

Buffalo Wild Wings is a national chain with locations at 1100 Blairs Ferry Rd. NE in Cedar Rapids, 2500 Corridor Way in Coralville and 201 S. Clinton St. in Iowa City.
