Two "persons of interest" have been taken into custody in Kentucky as Dubuque police continue to investigate a robbery at a Dubuque bank's automated teller machine Thursday.
The two are in custody on charges unrelated to the bank robbery, Dubuque police said.
Two men were reportedly involved in the robbery at the US Bank branch on John F Kennedy Road in Dubuque Thursday morning. Just about 20 minutes before the bank was set to open for the day, two employees were robbed outside the bank.
Police say the robbers demanded the employees give them the cash from the drive-up ATM outside the bank. Investigators are not saying how much money the suspects took.
