Braumann, Robert
Robert Braumann, 60, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 26, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Curt Moermond.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie; mother, Mary Braumann; stepsons, Dustin and Derek; brothers, David Braumann, Randy (Becky) Braumann and John (Michelle) Braumann; sister, Barbara (Jeff) Adkins; mother-in-law, Irene (Dick) Edgar; sister-in-law, Diane (Ed) O'Brien; brother-in-law, Don (Holly) Richards; and nieces and nephews, Aaron, Kari, Ryan, Brieanna, Jason, Mary, Kelli, Jeff, Noah, Zoe, Trenton, Quinn, Zoey and Donnie.
Bob was born Nov. 26, 1950, in Spencer, Iowa, the son of Evron and Mary (Fibaker) Braumann. He was a clock repairman for Harmening Haus in Marion, a job he had become very passionate about. On Oct. 6, 2007, he married Debbie Richards at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.
Bob was a loyal fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and enjoyed golfing. His family was very important to him and he enjoyed spending time with them, including playing cards and dominoes on Saturday evenings with Randy and Becky.
He was a loving and caring husband, father, and brother who will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Evron; and father-in-law, Dick Richards.
A memorial fund has been established.
