Monticello
Hilda Steiner, 91, died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, at Monticello Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30, at Peace United Church of Christ, Monticello, with interment in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello, has been entrusted with Hilda's services and care.
Surviving are six children, Leah (Leon) Smock, Marion, Diane Steiner, Washington, D.C., Vickie (Daniel) Clipper, Spanish Fort, Ala., Kevin Steiner, Monticello, Karla Schrader, Cedar Rapids, and Kathy (Paul) Faust, Manchester; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Eldon Covington, Freda DeLarm and Belva Covington.
