Clutier
Freddie Francis Kubik, 85, of Clutier, passed away Monday, Oct. 12, 2015, at Sunrise Hill Care Center in Traer. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at St. Wenceslaus Church, rural Clutier, with Father Ray Atwood as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, rural Clutier. Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 16, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama, with a rosary being recited at 7:30 p.m.
Survivors include his wife of almost 58 years, Shirley, of Clutier; one son, Michael Kubik of Clutier; two daughters, Lori (Curtis) Fuller of Solon and Lisa (Jesse) Lain of Iowa City; two grandchildren, Adam Fuller of Iowa City and Ashley Fuller of Madison, Wis.; two brothers, Dr. Rudy Kubik of Independence and Robert (Sandra) Kubik of Springfield, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews around the world.
