Christian "Chris" Detje, 80, of Traer, died at his home while napping on Sunday, July 15, 2018.
Chris is survived by his wife, Carol; and daughters, Christina (Ron) Schlichting, Diana (Larry) Hora, Tricia (Rob) Zeis, Lisa Even and Laura (Chad) Taylor.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at Ripley United Church of Christ in Traer. The visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at the church. The burial will be in Buckingham Cemetery with full military rites. Overton Funeral Home in Traer is handling the arrangements.
