Fisher, Amanda 'Mandi' Cowart
Amanda “Mandi” Cowart Fisher, 30, went home to be with our Lord and Savior unexpectedly in the company of family June 1, 2012.
Mandi blessed this world July 20, 1981, born to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry L. Cowart. She was a graduate of Mobile Christian and the University of Southern Mississippi and a member of Christ United Methodist Church. She especially cherished sisters, Amber and Abby, along with fellow members of her sorority Chi Omega and recent relationships with the Chromosone18 Registry and Research Society.
Mandi's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Mandi was without question one of the kindest and most genuine individuals God has ever created. Her love for her family and friends was nothing short of a blessing from above. What ultimately defined Mandi was her unconditional love and dedication for her husband and family, especially her beautiful daughter, Mackenzie. Mandi will live on through her forever.
Mandi was preceded in death by her grandfather, W.E. Tucker Sr.; and uncle, Walter Allen McMullen Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jason Fisher; her beautiful daughter, Mackenzie; parents, Jerry “Skip” and Sheri Cowart; sisters, Amber and Abby Cowart; maternal grandmother, Faye Tucker; brother-in-law to be, Evan Parrott; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 5, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home, 1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy., Mobile, Ala., with a chapel service following. The committal service will be held at Pine Crest Cemetery, West 1599 Snow Rd. S, Mobile, immediately following.
Memorials may be made to Chromosone18 Registry and Research Society or Goodwill Easter Seals of the Gulf Coast.
